Modern slavery awareness training
A ‘modern slavery awareness workshop’ will take place in Wordsley (Stourbridge) on Wednesday 2 May. This is being organised by the Church of England Diocese of Worcester and run by the Clewer Initiative. The event will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm at Wordsley Church Community Hall, High Street, Wordsley, DY8 5RU. The workshop (including lunch) is free, although there will be an opportunity for those who wish to make a contribution towards covering costs. Singers Kari Jobe, Crowder and Travis Greene will headline the Big Church Day Out, which will return to Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire, on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 June. 15,000 people are expected to flock to the festival. More details via this link.
