‘Safe Families for Children’ training

Safe Families for Children works hand-in-hand with children’s services to link families-in-need with local volunteers who can offer them help and support. This is done through Family Friends, Host Families. SFFC is hosting a number of training events for new volunteers. Participants are asked to attend two sessions in one of four Black Country locations:

+ 7.00pm on Thursdays 22 and 29 August at St Peter’s Church, Eve Lane, Dudley DY1 3TY 

+ 1.00pm on Sundays 15 and 22 September at Bearwood Chapel, 445 Bearwood Road, Smethwick B66 4DH + 

+ 7.00pm on Wednesdays 23 and 30 October at Gateway Christian Centre, Kelvin Way, West Bromwich B70 7JW +

+ 7.00pm on Thursdays 14 and 21 November at Kings Community Church, Tame Road, Oldbury B68 0JP +

Finance workshop for Young People

Youth worker’s conference in Halesowen

Sometimes it hurts (October 2019)

A conference for youth/children’s workers, professionals and volunteers, on ‘Child and Adolescent mental health and emotional well-being’ will take place on Saturday 26 October 2019 at Life Central Church, Little Cornbow, Halesowen, B63 3AJ.
